Live Game Chat Quick Start Guide

If you are new to the chat or unfamiliar with how it works, please read this easy overview before you continue.  Otherwise, click here.

IMPORTANT CHAT INFORMATION

• The chat room may not moderated, and is not administered by HuskerPedia™.  As such, HuskerPedia™ bears no responsibility for content or performance of this chat room.
• This chat room is not membership-controlled.  There are no guarantees that another participant is who they claim to be.
• Do not respond to rude participants, or "flamers".  Ignore them, and they will eventually lose interest and leave.

Connecting:
Once the applet has loaded, click the Connect button - it's on the upper left corner.


Logging in:
A new login window appears, with the title "Connect". Enter your Nickname in the top box, but note that spaces are not permitted, use an underscore ( _ ) instead. Users registered at HuskerPedia are encouraged to use their BBS handles. Leave the other two boxes how they are. Then click OK.


Play Calling:
The original purpose of this chat room was to provide a play-by-play source for anyone not able to watch it on TV or get audio feed by radio or Internet.  All participants are encouraged to assume the role of play-by-play caller if no one is already doing so, in fact two or three play callers are better than one.  General game chat and discussion is also encouraged, as if you were all watching the game in the same room.
